MVTC is critically dependent on volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to support MVTC and have a positive influence on its future direction. For the 2009 tennis year, we are especially looking for help with tournaments and doing food for tournaments. Volunteerism
The Mountain View Tennis Club is based on volunteers. Whether it’s on the Board, Committees, Tournaments, USTA teams, or Social Events it’s people who volunteer their time that makes our club what it is today. That’s why the Mountain View Tennis Club is one of the best public tennis clubs in the Bay Area. Our tournaments are well run, fun, and have good food. We have tennis clinics, racquet demos, and social events. Not to mention our two Dinners/General Meetings we have every year.

So for the upcoming 2009 tennis year make an effort to volunteer. Help run a tournament or help with the food. If everyone in the club volunteered just once a year, we would have more help than we need. And to all those people who have volunteered in the past a big THANK YOU from the board and the club.

  • MVTC Senior Mixed and Combo Doubles USTA Leagues 5/16/09
    The USTA Combo Doubles and 50 Mixed Tennis season is coming up soon. Team registration has opened and the deadline for team registration ends June 7th and June 14th respectivly. League Play begins in early July. Please sign up to identify your interest in playing in these leagues. We are in need of team captains, please volunteer. If you are interested in being on a team or forming a team, please use the online tool on our USTA page. There's also is a link that shows all those who have signed up. This will allow everyone to see who will be captains and those levels that need captains. . ... (more details)
