Quad Club Team Tennis

Entry Fee:$15.00/MVTC Member ~ $25.00/Adult Non-Member
Entry Deadline: Wed. Aug 19th @ 5pm ON-LINE ONLY

The tournament this month is a fun Team Tennis event. We will have a combination of teams made up of MVTC members/guests and the following local Tennis Clubs:

  • Tomodachi Tennis Club - contact: Ken Sakai
  • Cupertino Tennis Club - contact: Marilee Adams

A great BBQ lunch will be provided both days (This alone is worth the entry fee). This is an excellent way to meet local tennis club members!

80+ tennis players from six local clubs participated during the weekend! Team Tennis in the future will have to be called HEX Club Team Tennis. The teams were named after the bands of the British Invasion. The Stones won the winner’s bracket and The Animals won the consolation afternoon session. Most Valuable Player goes to Milt Twymann, the club’s 91 year old tennis phenom, who as a member of The Stones, on Sunday won two clutch matches.
