In the AM, the ENGERGIZER BUNNIES kept going, and going, and going…until they were ears above the other team! Captain Katharine Altemus and teammates Cathy Blake, Diane Gazzano, Hilda Palencia, Henry Buffalow, Fay Toolami, Solomon Tan, John Manton, and Roy Molseed narrowly bested silver medal winners the CHARLIE TUNAS (captained by Mike Siew), all of whom showed great taste in sporting the really clever and cute ID tags crafted Debbie Ryan!!

Bronze medals were ensured (sorry, can’t resist a good pun!) by the AFLAC DUCKS (captain George Koo), who spent the morning quacking everyone up. The industrious KEEBLER ELVES (captain Jeremy Chen) followed close on the webbed heels of the Ducks to also earn bronze medals, and surely would have taken all the matches had they but known that the Bunnies, Tunas, and Ducks could be bribed with “uncommonly good” cookies!

In the PM, the TONY TIGERS came out roaring—and proved they’re GGGRRRREEAAATTT! Captained by Lisa McMillan, teammates Rita Brand, Sergey Chemishkian, Scott Lowe, Karen Lombardo, Solomon Tan, Mustafa Furniturewala, and Jimmy Chu clawed their way to the gold medal, narrowly surpassing the QUANTAS KOALA BEARS (captain Steve DeWitt) who flew into second place silver. Despite arriving a little late at the gate, the Koalas outpaced the SLOWSKYS (captain Douglas Woolverton), who apparently took the “slow and steady wins the race” fable a little too much to heart in their meander to 3^rd place! The GEICO GECKOS (captain Marla Kravatz) finished the day with the 4^th place medal, glad they had that “no-fault” insurance!
