June Tournament Report
Lou
Castellanos, Patsy Duke
With 94 entrants and the draws predicting great matchups in every event,
the tournament had great promise. Well, the tournament lived up to its
promise with no easy matches in any of the draws.
So what happened? Here's the run down:

#2 (Mark Barron and Wayne Sorin) seeds go out in the first round. Duco
Pasmooij and Guangyu Xu def. Carleton and Villasensor 6-3, 7-5 and Vincent
Lui and Dave Wrubel def. Barron and Sorin 6-7, 6-4, 2-5 Ret. after Wayne
had to default because of an injury.
In the Semifinals

and Lui defeating them 6-3, 6-7, 6-3. But the highlight of this event
was the Final with Duco and Guangyu vs. Charlie Pruess and Tony Serksnis.
In a match that lasted 3 hours and 9 minutes it all came down to one point
in the 3rd set tiebreaker. Duco and Guangyu outlasted Tony and Charlie
