USTA Leagues
- USTA
coordinators will initiate communications with the membership regarding the
upcoming season at least one month prior to team registration start. This
communication will be used to coordinate teams, captains and players.
- USTA coordinators will manage
and begin allowing MVTC teams to schedule practices at Rengstorff for two
courts for two hours, subject to limitations and availability:
- One practice session per week
per team
- USTA league play always has priority
- No scheduled USTA match that night,
for weekdays.
- Time slot to be determined by
the team captain
- Sufficient lead time to properly
schedule with Parks and Rec
- Current court rate to be paid
whether used or not
- Rotation amongst all current teams
- Team must be registered with USTA

3. Team Captain Responsibilities:
- Team captains are representatives
of the MVTC and should at all times conduct themselves with good sportsmanship
and respect
- Team captains are obliged to uphold
MVTC rules when captaining club-sponsored team
- Team captains are obliged to run
teams as they see fit
- MVTC teams are open to all MVTC
members, subject to USTA rules.
- Players should take into account
the team philosophy, player ability, team size etc. before joining a team.
- All team members will hold current
club memberships or on the waiting list prior to league play
- Retain responsibility of rollup
door key for scorekeepers
- Oblige to team sanctions if inappropriate
conduct or abuse of privileges is observed
- captains and players must accept
any decision USTA coordinators make on an issue they are asked to resolve
- Team Captains shall notify the
USTA coordinators of team registration and player registrations to that team.
